The Stainless Steel Tiffin Exchange Program
Why do we insist on using stainless steel tiffins instead of simple, disposable food containers? For two major reasons: your health and environmental sustainability.
Plastic containers, even those marked "microwave-safe," leach microplastics and phthalates when they come in contact with hot curries, dals, and rotis. These chemicals act as endocrine disruptors and pose long-term health risks. Furthermore, single-use plastic boxes generate massive amounts of non-biodegradable waste in Faridabad landfills every day.
Our solution is the Dual-Tiffin Exchange Model:
- On Day 1, we deliver your meal in a clean, sanitized steel tiffin container.
- On Day 2, you return the Day 1 container (please rinse it out) to our delivery executive when they drop off your fresh Day 2 meal in a new container.
- Our kitchen runs a high-temperature industrial dishwasher. We steam-sanitize every returned tiffin to ensure absolute elimination of bacteria before it is reused.
To support this model, we collect a one-time refundable security deposit of ₹300 for monthly subscribers, which is fully returned if you choose to cancel your subscription.
